Hitting the two-year mark

Welcome to Delphi’s latest update

2025 has started off strong. Not only have we reached our 2nd birthday, we’ve also delivered more big client projects than ever and kept growing our team too. Here’s our update on what we’ve been up to over the past three months…

Two years old!

Delphi turned 2 on May 17th, and we’re thrilled with the progress we’ve made so far. Ellie summed up our milestones to date here. And Louie wrote about some of the things we’ve learned along the way.

Running a new business means it always feels like there’s more you could be doing. But with ten brilliant people, 15 fantastic clients, a new agency of the year award and exciting plans for the future, it’s also important to step back and appreciate how far we’ve come already.

Our work

Since the start of the year, we’ve worked on a broad range of projects – from paid media campaigns, to classic thought leadership, via employer brand and audience insight work.

We’ve continued and expanded our engagement with Tata Communications, reaching CIOs across North America (and soon EMEA!) with our “Fabric of Success” campaign. This paid media campaign tells the stories of Tata Comms and its customers, explaining how its digital fabric underpins their innovation and growth.

For British software scale-up MHR, we launched a fascinating thought leadership campaign entitled “The Secrets of High Performance”, which looked at the misalignment between company leaders and front-line employees in their understanding of what makes a high performance team. Collaborating with academic Andre de Waal, we created a report and creative assets that worked across earned, owned and paid channels.

We’ve also run an employer brand content series, called “Join Our Journey”, for knowledge consultancy AlphaSights. And delved into the world of accounts receivable teams for business payments giant Bottomline, with a unique series of qualitative interviews to dig into companies’ cashflow challenges and shape Bottomline’s GTM strategy.

That mix of work reflects the breadth of what we’re doing right now – across earned, paid, owned, content, strategy and creative – and there’s a lot more to come!

Team updates

We’ve made a series of great hires so far this year as our client roster has expanded and diversified. Joining Will and Amandeep at 393, our PR arm, is Natalie Williams, who’s already made a superb impact with clients and media alike.

And in just the last few days, we announced the appointment of Sarah Hollingsworth as our first Client Services Director, and John Watton, former CMO at Adobe and Yext, as a Special Adviser. You can read more about both Sarah and John here – we’re thrilled to have them on board. Watch out for more people announcements soon.

What we’re seeing in the market

Speaking to other agency founders, it feels like the general sentiment has been positive so far in 2025. The year started off well and agencies were busy. Then tariff-related nonsense started in April and has made the second half of 2025 harder to predict.

But overall, our pipeline is looking strong and we’re confident in how the market is shaping up for the rest of the year.

Thinking and speaking

Delphi was proud to play a key role in the launch of new research from State of Us on mental health in the comms and marketing industry. Our co-founder Ellie also spoke on a panel about the topic last week.

Meanwhile we’ve been writing about some of the topics on our agenda with clients right now. ICYMI here are a few highlights:

And lastly, we’re organising our latest Dine With Delphi. If you’re interested in joining us, just drop us a message!
